You know, some students work very hard and study for hours to pass the test, while others get scholarships because of their good grades.
There are people in the Bible, too, who work diligently, and they are not lazy. I believe that some prophets of God are diligently following God’s instructions.
So that they may fulfill what God the Lord has to say, TO BE DOING THE WILLS OF GOD IN HEAVEN, they work heartily for the Lord according to the Bible.
Colossians 3:23 KJV
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
It’s true, it’s better to please đ God than men, because with the Lord there is reward. Do you agree with me?
God knows our hearts, future, and all about us. We have a great and loving God.
Furthermore, the Bible says,
Proverbs 4:23 KJV
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Our hearts are important , and we have to be careful with the decisions we make and make sure we are walking in the right direction.
I remember Prophet TB Joshua saying, “If we do not give our Hearts an assignment, our Hearts will find themselves an assignment.”
Let us do what Jesus saith: âwatch and prayâ đ.
What does the Bible say about diligence?
The Bible told us to diligently keep God’s commandments. Deuteronomy 6:17. So, it’s true that God really wants us to obey him, to keep his ways, and when we obey him, we are on the right path.
But why does that matter? God will be pleased with us when we obey and trust in him; moreover, God will be with us and prosper us, as with Joseph.
Do you remember Calab and Joshua being allowed to enter the promised land? Because they follow God fully, they get to live their lives until they are old. And now let’s look at the book of Proverbs 10:4, and the Bible says:
â He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. â
Wow, King Solomon said this Bible verse is very understandable. A slack hand đď¸ means a lazy person who doesnât want to work.
Moreover, a person who doesnât feel like doing anything; therefore, that person will become poor and have little money.
But the diligent hands đ and a person who works diligently every day and night will become more prosperous. But you know why?
A hardworking person will become successful in their business and become rich. Will have a sweet life – never lack anything in life. Wow,
you know who the richer man is in our time? Elon Musk. He is a man who works so diligently and for so many long hours that he sleeps on the factory floor.
Will we get a reward for being diligent?
Of course, we will get a reward.
Solomon himself saith in Proverbs 10:4: “A person who works diligently will become richer and richer.”
Reward #1: God will heal us of our disease.
Furthermore, let’s take a look at Exodus 15:26: when we listen to God and do that which is right in His sight. Our Lord will not put any disease đŚ
Nowadays, God still heals us through his anointed servants, the prophet VZ Zitha, Alph Luka, and TB Joshua. Our God never leaves us.
#2. God will set us on high and bless us
Deuteronomy 28:1. Yes, đ. When we diligently keep God’s commandments, we trust and obey him.
The Bible says God will set us on high above all nations.
So that means we will be the greatest nation, no other nation can defeat us in a war, and we will be so powerful and strong because God is with us, and thus we also be important, and people will talk about us.
We will have Fame and prosperity, power. That would be awesome, wouldnât it?
#3. God will reward us when we diligently seek him
Hebrews 11:6. When we seek God with all of our hearts and souls, days and nights. We will get a reward from God. However, the Bible does not mention what reward we will get.
Are you wondering that too? Maybe our reward is a place to live in heaven; not sure. Rewards can be rich, prosperous, or a long life. Then we will have a wonderful life, full of happiness and gladness. We will rejoice in the Lord, our God, who gives everything.
Who is an example of a diligent person in the Bible?
Firstly, David is a very diligent man taking care of the sheep đ for his family. Moreover, he is practicing how to shoot a slingshot; otherwise, he couldn’t won against the Goliath. He has strong trust in God.
David is diligently in meditation and keeping the commandments and laws of God. We can see how much he loves God’s precepts in Psalm 119.
God, look at his heart â¤ď¸, and choose him to become king, that he may rule the people of God in righteousness.
2 Samuel 7:8 KJV
Now therefore so shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people, over Israel:
Wow, David was just a shepherd boy, and it is God’s will that David become king. God king.
Secondly, Paul is a diligent man; however, in his past life, he persecuted the people of God. However, his life changed when he met Jesus, who blind his eyes, he opened his eyes again after 3 days through his servant Ananias of Damascus.
Thereafter, Paul went about preaching the words of God from one place to another.
You know, Saul, also known as Paul, is a missionary who travels to preach the words of God.
And he is working harder than anyone. See 1 Corinthians 15:10. And he claims that God was with him.
Do you know how many books Paul the Apostle wrote? 13 books in the New Testament.
There are many diligent people in the Bible, I do not wish to say every one of them. Keep reading.:
Why is diligence necessary in life?
Being diligent is very, very important. Do you know why? If you are not diligent in your work and too lazy to go to work, you can miss days, lose your job, and become jobless and homeless.
Then where do you go to live? Maybe in the homeless shelter or even not. Or you sleep in the grass.
Your life will be so miserable, and you will regret it because it will become more complex than ever.
You know, I saw one man begging in the street for years, standing all day long and begging for money to feed himself. I gave him some little money and a rabbit đ
As time passed by, I didn’t see him in the street anymore and had no idea when he go.
If you are diligent and hardworking, you will surely succeed in life and eventually get rich. You can buy whatever you need: cars, a house, expensive clothes, and so on.
Finally, if you are a lazy bone and too lazy to work, you will remain where you are, and although you have a goal to buy a house someday, you will never achieve it.
Conclusion
Thanks for reading my review. Nowadays, rent and bills keep rising.
If we have a high-paying job, that would be so nice, wouldnât it?
And you can easily pay rent and whatever else you need in life, and can even help the house who need You will live a comfortable life without worry.
Remember Jacob, he worked 7 years for Rachel, and God bless the work of his hands, and he is a prosperous man.
And also Jesus is a diligent man, for he preached the words of God. Yes, he came to die for our sins.
Our Lord Jesus died that we may live. Do you agree with me?
And now, about me: I am sluggish, haha. Donât know where the future is taking me. Mmmm. All that matters is that God will be done.
Lastly, Daniel prayed 3 times a day, consistently and diligently, to God, our creator, and in the end, God saved him from the lions đŚ.
When Daniel was cast into the lions’ den, God sent an angel to shut the lions’ mouths; thus, Daniel slept peacefully.
I know he loves God and will pray to him for the rest of his life. Where is Daniel now?
His soul is in heaven.
