How To Seek The Kingdom Of God? Matt 6:33

God, the most high, has created us, and everyone should seek him because the more you seek God, the more you will know him.

And when we know more of God, we will love him. The Bible says, “Seek the Lord while he may be found” (Isaiah 55:6).

So the Bible did command us to seek him; all Christian people should seek God, because he is our creator, we ought to know his ways and how to live our life as Christians, which is

To love our neighbors as ourselves, and to love the Lord our God wholeheartedly, and that is how we should live our lives.

Moreover, searching for God is not in vain nor vanity because the Bible says God rewards those who diligently seek him. See Hebrews 11:6.

Our God will reward us when we seek him and want to know him more and more.

In life, we are busy working to earn money for bills, rent, and other expenses. We should prioritize God and make time to pray to him and read our Bibles.

We should work and support the weak and remember the words of the Lord. See Acts 20:35. God indeed wants us to help the helpless, especially the needy and the poor.

What does it mean to seek the kingdom of God?

When we seek God, and put Him in first place in our hearts as always, we will have everything in life, Jesus saith

Matthew 6:33 KJV

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

So, what does Jesus mean?

We need to focus on seeking God and pursuing Him, and we will eventually have what we need in life. But how? Because God is our provider. See Philippians 4:19. “ God shall provide all your need.

Furthermore, remember Elijah: God sustained him by sending a raven to bring him bread and meat, so God took care of his Prophet so that he would not go hungry.

Moreover, God even sent his angel to feed Elijah, so that he could go on without food and water for 40 days and nights.

And also David

David saith God sustain him. Psalms 3:5.

In 2 Samuel 12:8, God gives King David everything; however, if it is not enough, God is willing to give him more and more of what is needed in life.

So, what can we learned from the story? We need to keep seeking God every day and night, and not worry about what we need, because our God will take care of it—agreed with me?

The best Bible verse

2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Wow, God loves us so much that when we sin, God will forgive us of our Sins if we seek the face of God and turn from our wicked ways. So yes, God does give us a second chance.

Our God is merciful and forgiving.

So 👍, I know we have to work 8 hours a day, but they to make time for God, seek him, and pray. Let him be our top priority, and so many essential things in life.

People who seek God in the Bible

#David

David is a man who loves to seek God (Psalm 63), and he is thirsty and hungry for God.

David saith, “Oh God, you are my God, early will I seek you. “Wow, isn’t that wonderful?

Imagine David waking up from his sleep, and the first thing he does is seek God.

You know the life of David, he loved the laws of God and his commandments. Psalms 119. He is a GOOD MAN OF GOD.

He wins every war and battle and never loses because God is with him and protects him (2 Samuel 12:7). David is a man who loved and trusted God.

When David committed sins, he sought God, fasted, and prayed (2 Samuel 12:16). We can see David’s true repentance in Psalm 51. And guess what?. God forgive David.

#2 Jehoshaphat

When Jehoshaphat was king 👑, he walked in the ways of David, which means worshiping God and serving him, not Baal, the false God.

In the early days of Jehoshaphat’s reign, he sought God. Lol. The Bible says God is with him (2 Chronicles 17:4). And God established his kingdom; thus, this means he is a very successful king, with riches and honor in his reign, which is very prosperous.

I believe Jehoshaphat is a great king who loves God and cares for God, and he is a man of prayer.

Jehoshaphat prays to God in the days when his enemies came against him to battle him, his enemies are the Moabites, the Ammonites, and the Meunites, you know that a lot of army.

But you know what Jehoshaphat did? He sought God and fasted, and he also asked for God’s help because his enemies were powerful men. And he prays 🙏 to God.

The battle is not ours but God’s. Of course, when the people of God fast and pray and seek the face of God, God in heaven wants to help his people.

And the war starts, and

God set an ambush, and they fought against each other (2 Chronicles 20:22). The Bible says, “ they all helped to destroy one another.” This means the three nations that came against the king of Judah were fighting among themselves.

When Jehoshaphat and his men came to the battlefield, they saw the dead of all his enemies and their precious goods. It took the men of Jehoshaphat 3 days to remove the goods and keep for themselves because there was so much of it.

Jehoshaphat is the man who seeks God with all his heart. 2 Chronicles 22:9.

Jeremiah 29:13 KJV

“ And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. “

Why is it important to seek God?

Seeking the Lord, our God, is very important

Because He is our God and our creator, it is he who made us, not we ourselves.

Psalm 100:3 KJV

Know ye that the LORD is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Have you ever thinking 🤔 of? Who creates a human being? Or where do we come from? We are not coming from a monkey, aren’t we?

The first human being on the earth was Adam, who was male, then Eve (female). They are described in the book of Genesis in the Bible.

When we seek the Lord our God, we will know the true meaning of life and even how to live our lives. We should not live in a way that involves doing whatever we want.

We should follow God’s ways, even his paths. Doing that which is good and right in the eyes of God.

If we do not seek the face of God, we will follow our own hearts and do that which seems right in our own eyes. But the Bible says the heart is deceitful above all things. Jeremiah 17:9

That why seeking God is important, because we will know the ways of life, and God made known his ways to Moses.

Imagine a life without God, when our hearts are wicked, surely we will go astray, and we will do bad things.

God gave us commandments and laws to love the Lord our God and to love people. Wow. We know how to live our lifes. thanks to God.

When we seek God wholeheartedly, we will surely find him. With the Lord, there is peace.

People who genuinely love God will have a complete and happy life.

Ways to seek God

You know there are many ways to search for God, but the most effective is reading your Bible, but why?

When we read our Bible, we will know what God the Lord has to say, and also we will know everything that is needed to understand; however, for a newbie and beginners

It can be hard to understand what the Bible is talking about.

Furthermore, you can seek God by going to church, because a pastor can preach about God, and the ideas they preach are definitely from the Bible.

A pastor will talk about Bible characters and add Bible verses, but I don’t recommend listening to pastors, ’cause I prefer the Prophet of God’s preaching.

Have you heard of Prophet vz Zitha? He is on YouTube, of course, and there are more Prophets of God. By them, we can see God heal the sick, prophesy, and even cast out demons. You know God is working in the life of his anointed Prophets.

And another way to search for God is to find friends who are Christians; however, not all Christian who call themself Ohh I am a Christian don’t know anything about the Bible lol.

The good news is that so many Christian people know about God. Especially those characters in the Bible because their hearts do care for God and seek him through reading the Bible, and do not depend on their pastors

Final thoughts.

Thanks for reading my article

If you are a lover of God, and when you seek him wholeheartedly and even with all of your heart, you will surely find God. Proverb 8:17. David is a man who seeks God in his time.

Psalm 27:8 KJV

When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

Wow, David is an obedience king and a great king, and God Jehovah established his kingdom.

You know, there is a Bible, and it is the story of God and his people, of what God has done. God loves us so much, and he is with us from Genesis to Revelation.

Our Lord Jesus will never forsake us, nor will he leave us. God loves us.

Jesus will coming back the second time, there be ye ready.
